Walter Herbert Riepe (#1385) and Walter O. Peterson co-owned the Riepe-Peterson store, a popular clothing store on Jefferson Street in Burlington, Des Moines Co., IA. Both men had earlier worked together in a clothing store, and decided to open their own men's clothing store in the early 1930's. The store is on the right - the sign is just above the the first parked car (black).
