Their daughter, Louise Riepe (#4131), was born November 14, 1867 or 1869, and married William F. Busick on May 22, 1895 in Adams Co., IN

I found a reference online to the accidental death of "Miss Riepe" in Evansville, Vanderburgh Co., IN in 1884, so I requested a copy of the newspaper article from the Indiana State Library. Unfortunately, the article gives no information regarding her full name, age, parents, etc. The only 2 clues are the address - 39 Georgia street - and the reference to her as being a "young girl". If you have any information about who this might be, please let me know!!!

Article from The Indianapolis News, Wednesday, December 3, 1884 ~

"Monday afternoon, Miss Riepe, a young girl living at 39 Georgia street, Evansville, met with a horrible death. She was sitting near a hot stove when her clothes caught fire. On discovering her danger, she rushed into the air, fanning the flames and burning herself so badly that she died in a short time."
